The theme of our May 1 meeting was “May Day,” and we celebrated the vibrance and blossoms of Spring.

Grammarian Audrey announced our word of the day, “Brilliant.” VP of Membership Ramya led our new member induction. Ramona shared the leader profile of Thich Nhat Hanh, Vietnamese monastic and peace activist.

Vandana shared her icebreaker speech, “Manifestation of My Dreams,” taking us on her journey through life as she has chased her dreams. She left us with a call to inspire us to pursue our own dreams. 

Natalya’s speech, “Silenced Cry from the Heart of Our Schools,” explored the importance of inclusive education and positivity, and how that support leads to creativity and engagement in schools.

Table Topics Master Snehitha asked creative questions and elicited some creative answers that had us all laughing.
