This week’s meeting focused on energy, connection, and growth as we gathered around the theme “Adding Momentum to Your Day.” Our Toastmaster of the Day, Preetha, invited us to reflect on how we can bring intention and energy into our daily actions. Through their remarks, we explored how small actions can build momentum and were encouraged to show up with purpose and presence.

The Word of the Day was:

Ignite (verb) — to spark or set something into motion with energy.

Our leader profile presenter, Derick, presented a heartfelt and reflective speech about his aunt. Through a personal story, they examined compassion, resilience, and redefining leadership beyond status or title. Their reflections challenged us to consider what true leadership looks like in our own lives, leaving many of us thinking deeply about leading with heart.

Our first guest speaker, Dhiraj, delivered a humorous and engaging tall tales speech, “Glory that I Can’t Remember.” They explored a memorable experience involving Holi drinks during a festival, sharing a vivid story with no recollection.

Our second speaker, Abhijeet, delivered an informative speech. Through an engaging explanation of video diffusion models and AI advancements, they explored how rapidly technology is evolving and the importance of understanding it to stay relevant. Their insights encouraged us to remain curious and adaptable in a changing world.

The Table Topics portion of the meeting, led by Ignacio, brought energy and engagement to the room. Guided by questions aligned with building momentum, members reflected on how to energize their day, stay disciplined, and connect with purpose through storytelling and shared experiences.
