Meeting – Proud To Be Me

It’s Pride Month! Let’s celebrate authenticity, individuality, and self-acceptance — because everyone has a unique voice.

In preparation for the upcoming club officer election, our Sergeant at Arms Eduardo and SAA Tech Sarah explained their roles.

Nitin gave his icebreaker speech where he shared a personal story about a haircut mishap that led to a unique hairstyle, causing anxiety about social reactions. He resolved to wear a cap to hide the mistake, which turned out to be a non-issue as no one noticed.

Lily gave her speech “Crossing Off My Bucket List” where she discussed her experience crossing off a bucket list item by taking a cruise to Alaska with family. She highlighted the cruise’s amenities, offshore excursions to Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway, and the Glacier Bay National Park. The trip also included a souvenir of COVID-19, emphasizing the importance of health and adventure.

Our Table Topics Master Joscel asked insightful questions about what makes you unique, such as ‘Share your superhero origin story’.
