This meeting, we celebrated the birth month of Florence Nightingale (May 12), whose pioneering voice reformed healthcare.

We kicked off the meeting with officer intros. Ramya talked about her role as President, and Jian about hers as VPPR.

Joscel gave his speech “21st Century Pioneers”. He reflected on the concept of pioneers, drawing parallels to historical figures like Florence Nightingale and his own immigrant parents. He also suggested a five-step process for self-actualization: radical self-acceptance, radical responsibility, declaring purpose, creating a message, and distributing it globally through the internet.

Table Topics Master Audrey based her questions on the beloved Oregon Trail video game, with each question reflecting a scenario in the video game, e.g. “Your wagon wheel breaks halfway across the plains! Tell us about a time when something didn’t go according to plan and how you adapted to keep moving forward.”
