We had a special structure today, starting with an interview with Abhijeet, who is running for International Director of Toastmasters. Key issues discussed were financial difficulties post-pandemic and member engagement. Proposed solutions included leveraging a subscription model for convention recordings and creating corporate training programs.

Next we had “Moments of Truth,” a tool for evaluating club functions and member experiences. We broke into small groups to discuss what we felt about the following: first impressions of the club, membership orientation, fellowship, program planning, membership strength, and achievement recognition.
