Gail gave her speech titled “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work”. She recounted her story of facing a daunting task of organizing an event for a large multi-family community with a tight deadline. Initially adopting an authoritarian approach failed, leading to a switch to democratic coaching. This fostered team engagement, resulting in a community festival with various attractions. The event was a success, boosting resident relationships and retention, and Gail learned the value of trusting and valuing team input.

Kirti gave her speech titled “Activate Your Leader Within”. She discussed leadership styles, referencing Barack Obama’s affiliative style, Serena Williams’ coaching style, and Winston Churchill’s bureaucratic style. She also shared a personal experience of activating leadership skills during a critical work situation, emphasizing the importance of listening, caring, and efficient task management.
