Leena gave her speech titled ‘A Magical World of Words: Lessons from the Toastmasters Championship‘

Leena spoke about the excitement of listening to the best speakers at the International Toastmasters Conference as well as observing the importance of a strong opening, humor, and “practice, practice, practice”.

Abhijeet gave his speech titled ‘5 Secrets to Make Your Speech Conversational’

Abhijeet spoke about the importance of speaking in a conversational manner such as using contractions, shorter sentences, and more casual word choices.

For Table Topics, Table Topics Master Sarah (second time in a row!) asked questions based on the theme including ‘What did you parents teach you about dealing with interpersonal conflict? Did you have to unlearn any of that?’ and ‘Describe a time you had to give someone bad news or unpleasant feedback.’
