A very apt theme for this week!

The Word of the Day was celebratory, chosen by our Grammarian Audrey.

Ramona gave her speech titled Embracing the Journey

Ramona shared with us her personal journey of ups and downs through life, from starting and shutting down her own company to moving to a new country. She encouraged us all to live our lives authentically without worrying what others think. In short, to embrace the journey 🙂

Kirti gave her speech titled Beyond the Setback

Kirti also shared her personal story of how she overcame recent setbacks in her life, from a layoff to an illness in the family. However, she bounced back better than ever with a new job she really enjoys. Go Kirti!

For Table Topics, Table Topics Master Chandana hosted the first ever Toastmaster Olympics! The questions were on-theme such as ‘
Describe a new unconventional sport you’ve invented’. Chandana even had prizes for everyone, including ‘Best Storytelling’ and ‘Best Overall’.
