What a fun theme for our July 10th meeting!

The Word of the Day was jamboree, chosen by our grammarian Kirti.

Now on to our one and only speech!

Chandana gave her speech titled…

Communication Styles: Lessons Learnt.

She shared some key lessons in effective communication, giving real-life examples of how she had to adapt her communication style with different interviewers. Some other great points she made:

1. Always ask yourself: what is the value you are giving them? What do they want from you?
2. Most people are visual thinkers – try to paint a picture

In lieu of a second speech, we had an awards ceremony! Congrats to the following club members:

Table Topics Master Jian made a fun graphic where participants chose a holiday (think Christmas, Halloween, etc.) and answered a related question.
