The theme of our June 12 meeting was Networking.

Naina’s speech, “A Journey From Comfort to Uncertainty” outlined challenges of moving to a new country with only her husband and no longer being surrounded by friends and family. She also had to learn to do housework for the first time. She overcame this, however, by getting involved in new activities like Toastmasters.

Monica shared “7 Seconds is All it Takes,” about how first impressions are the most important when trying to sell a product.

In Audrey’s speech with purpose, “Quantity over Quality,” she convinced us that quantity matters more than quality when it comes to networking 

Table Topics Master Ramona printed out some funny “fake” products, like fake abs and diet water, and the challenge was to come up with a pitch for them. It was filled with lots of fun and laughter!
