Grammarian Priya introduced our word of the day, “Countryside.”

Audrey Liu delivered her icebreaker speech, “Rediscovering My Inner Bookworm” about how she discovered reading. She encouraged all of us to download an ebook, visit our library, or browse in our local bookstore.

Abhijeet shared his inspiring speech, “Conquering the Narrative,” about how to be more aware of the chatter in our minds and become more emotionally stable. 

Table topics master Akila led us on a discussion of many different elements of our natural world. 

At the end of the meeting, Officers talked about the club roles as we get ready for the elections, inviting members to take on new roles as part of the Toastmasters journey.
