We had a special workshop this week. Distinguished Toastmaster Lindy MacLAane led us in her workshop entitled “Emote,” and she helped us stretch our emoting muscles.
She shared helpful tips in getting the emotion out, like moving your body, imagining breath coming from our bellies, relaxing our face.
Toastmasters got to practice and get feedback from Lindy:
Parag shared a personal story about seeing friends and wondering about love.
Chandana shared a story about being nervous about answering in the classroom
At the end of the meeting, we discussed a change to our meeting time: extending the meeting by 10 minutes from 7pm to 8:10pm PST.
