Gloria began our March 20 meeting with the Leader profile of Tsai Ing-wen, President of Taiwan.
Grammarian Aneri shared word of the day, Tranquility.


Gail spoke about The Transformative Power of Kindness. “ Kindness is tool that knows no boundaries.” We learned that it’s also a two way street: acts of kindness trigger mood-boosting endorphins and reduce our stress. 


Jagan shared a speech My First and Second Amendments, a speech about resilience. The challenge for this project was managing a difficult audience. He had a surprising lesson about defense – the power of mental defense. 


Table Topics Master Himakshi led us on a unique challenge – using a list of 10 words in our responses. The toastmasters each were able to weave the words into their responses in a humorous way.
