Our theme for the first meeting of the year was Fresh Start.

Preetha shared a Leader profile of Claudia Goldin, recipient of the Nobel Prize in Economics. Her work includes investigation of women’s economics and the gender pay gap.

Priya shared “Networking in the modern world!” with her DARE framework for networking: Define your goal, Accept & attend an event, Review agenda & decide, then Evaluate & followup after event to build relationships.

Jagan shared “Affects of Technology on Human Connections,” with how technology can help, but only if we keep our focus on the people around us.

Ramya, led us on a table topics discussion of how we are all starting fresh this new year.
