Our November 22 meeting theme is Family. Our President Preetha tied our Family theme for Thanksgiving week to the Debate workshop, noting that debates often come up with family over Thanksgiving dinner. Our word of the day, Grateful, was also timely.

Preetha shared a speech, “2 Minutes on Skis,” on her experience as a protege as part of her Leadership Development pathway. She shared the difference between mentorship and coaching.

Abhijeet led us in a debate workshop where we practiced debating back and forth over fun topics: men cooking, showering daily, AI impact on our brains, and how addictive sugar, fat, and salt are.

We came to some agreements after stating positions and rebuttals. That last topic was a good kickoff to our holiday weekend!
