We held our “Tranquility” themed meeting on a tranquil Wednesday evening, though we had a frenetic start in getting to the meeting room. Grammarian Snehitha picked our W.O.D., “frenetic.” Toastmaster Parag kept us on track with not two, but three prepared speeches.

Our first speaker Linda shared a story about integrity — what do you do when your handsome boss invites you to his hotel room? Our second speaker Akshita wove a story that illustrated how only you can give away your power. Our third speaker Anushree looked back fondly on her Toastmasters journey so far. 

Then Table Topics Master Akila prompted us to go into nature, to stay tranquil during frenzy, and to lead a meditation. General Evaluator Helen called upon our evaluators Ignacio, Leena, and Karen to evaluate the speakers, and then our functionaries Ah-Counter Jagan, Grammarian Snehitha, and Timer Himakshi to give their reports.
