Our theme for our 11/1 meeting was Resilience. And unofficially we also celebrated Halloween and the Day of the Dead with costumes and candy. Our word of the day was Eerie.

Vice President of Membership Ramya led the New Member Induction.

Alice Ou shared an icebreaker speech, “Women Empowerment.” She shared her journey of building up her confidence. 

Jagan Kaja gave an icebreaker speech, “On the Flip Side.” He began by going all the way back to childhood, his family. He spoke about different sides of each major event in his life – the opportunities and challenges that come with each change. 

Linda Yeh spooked us all with “Night in a Hotel Room.” She asked everyone if we believe in ghosts.

Table Topics Master Himakshi led the group in a creative discussion. She used a set of flip cards with fun prompts for different objects. For each object, we discussed how we use that object’s quality in everyday life.
